INCREASED OPERATIONAL VISIBILITY, SAVINGS AND A GREENER STADIUM ARE THE GOAL WITH ENTIC’S TECHNOLOGY.
Major League Baseball team, Texas Rangers, call Globe Life Park their home stadium. Completed in 1994, this Arlington, Texas stadium, covers 1.5 million square feet and has the capacity to accommodate 50,000 attendees.
The ballpark includes a four-story commercial building, where the team’s administrative offices, along with many bars and restaurants are located. However, the humid Central Texas climate means that air conditioning often makes up a significant portion of the property’s energy expenses. By partnering with Entic, the Texas Rangers are seeking to optimize this and other systems to improve their bottom-line and gain real-time operational visibility into their central plant.
Globe Life Park is the fifth MLB venue to sign with Entic, and the company’s technology will provide the ballpark’s management with actionable insight in order to optimize their energy systems’ performance.
